Yesterday was very nice to come back after more than two months, to see part of the family and feeling a warm welcome:012:. I reached Al Badayer shops in perfect time, I met Big Red, Geni and Armin on the way. I was so happy to see them after long time:021:. Well.. to test the new characteristics of the car I decided to join the newbie convoy. We drove from Al Badayer shops up to Iftar bawl with Shamsi leading and Strawb as sweeper. I had fun, the newbies did a very good job.... no particularly problems on the way.
I look forward to see the rest of the family soon.:038:

Everyone knows and accept that Catch Me If You Can trip is made for a special purpose, but it was only for 8 lucky Almosters? What will happen to the rest of Almosters who always hungry for more? Many of them are not qualified for the drive, including myself:016:, we agree with that but we want to have a nice weekend with ALMOST4x4 family in the desert. I kept opening ALMOST4x4 website to monitor the progress of the registration. Unbelievable, the number of Almoster in the waiting list were keep growing and growing. I said to myself, shall I put my name, too or not? yes, no, yes, no? okay put and pray. Finally, the thread was closed, and voala! my name was there in the convoy #2. Thanks a lot to ALMOST4x4 :047:

One of Perfect Drive
The trip was amazing, under a nice big blue sky with a nice decoration of white cotton clouds here and there and crawling on the golden sand. It was a wonderful day, and Bu Salem and Strawb made it perfect by leading us to area where we all enjoyed so much. Got many new things to learn from this trip, such as: How to drive to gain momentum and to use it in a correct way, cresting and so on.

Shop in the desert
People talks about Ghost Town. Most of them know and have been there, except me:054:. But do they know that there is a shop in the middle of the desert? Nobody knows about that, 100% for sure, but all Almosters in the convoy #2 know where it is. In case somebody wants to know where is the location of the shop, then He/She has to contact Bu Salem:057:.

Big thanks to Bu Salem, Caprihorse and Strawb and all Almosters who made this trip memorable for all of us, again we are all had a nice weekend to be remembered in the future. ALMOST4x4 is number one:045:.

Thank you to Capri, Abu Jimmy, and Yogy for a great trip. Was a lovely drive in the desert. I continued on to near Musandam for a night of camping with some friends, was back in Abu Dhabi at 9pm on Saturday, shattered but happy.

Everyone came out and drove at their best, generally a very clean drive, looking forward to the next one!

This was my 2nd Trip in Catch Me If you can. I knew that this is an awesome learning experience by one of our most experienced Marshal " Caprihorse " . We all met on Scheduled time. We had briefing and we started moving. Overall was a good learning experience. Thanks you Capri , Abu jimmy , Yoghy and all participating Almosters.

Mazaj, sarookh and myself started our day driving (offroad) from the camp site. By the time we got to the meeting point we had the briefing and were split into to convoys. Tha advance drivers were given the task of running the show. I really would like to thank Mazaj, Sarookh, Rashid, DL, Ramy, and Nancy for a job well done. They took turns on leading the convoy and made sure that the track is interesting. All in all the trip was a really good trip with few stucks, the intermediate drives did well too. Thanks to all for yet another nice weekend with the almoster's family.
