Good morning Almosters,

Anyone would like to share info and experience with a good and reasonable price Dubai Desert Safari Tour? got some info on several tour companies from cheap (AED 130) to expensive (AED 250), but no idea about the quality and value for money.

Thanks in advance Guys.

Who needs a safari company when you are a member of this club and with the marshals making trips every week?!

from personal experience, the cheap safari companies are not safe at all, even the expensive ones are not that safe either.
the drivers are not trained properly, or at least they are not trained to deal with emergencies if they happen, they fill the cars to the max, an LC will take 6 adults cramped, no convoy safety rules, etc.

if you have guests, you can rent a car or 2, ask the nice marshals to arrange an ANIT drive if possible, you will end up paying less and in a safer environment.

Desert hawk, i agree with the topics you were mentioning. But there are drivers in desert safari who is well experience, trained for handle any kind of emergencies with experience of more than 10 years and more in desert itself. You should try safari with them.
Off course as a customer not every one knows them, but if u ask to the well organised reputed tour companies that u need such drivers they will accommodate you with them. I am not telling the new drivers are not trained they are, but lack of experience and impatience makes the problems which you have addressed above

Awwww, what should I say now! There are Safaris called "Sundowner" which are sold for AED 350.00 until end of October and increase to AED 360.00 from November :011:
What are your expectations? Nissan? LC? Hummer? AD or Dubai? Public desert? Private desert? Safety and quality? It's simple! Do you prefer flying Emirates or Air Italia?
If you need some recons (only one actually...) call me before Thursday 2pm (as I am going on leave) and I can tell you! 050-6252766
@Refad: You drive topless at the moment?

LOL..only downside of doing a Desert Safari with the club is that you will end up deprived of the Henna, face painting , kid activities and most of all the Belly Dancers !

Dont wanna watch the Marshals trying to fill in for the dancers....even with shaved legs and bellys !
