Jus going to make things a lil easier here as far as i know when i am travelling to oman by road all i need is my passport and im guessing somewere around 50dhs(for a 1 days visa ) could be more for 3 days not sure. This might change though depending on what kind of visa are you on

Gone through the list which visa to apply for tourist visa or express visa ? any idea

and what will be the point of entry to be defined in the application

can have the visa issued at the border crossing itself
