🔥 Enter The Inferno 2🔥

Like any proper off-road addict, I was casually checking the app for the hundredth time that day—when BOOM
—a new drive popped up. And not just any drive, but one posted by none other than our legendary Marshal @Rashidjass! Without wasting a single second, I hit that “Join” button like my life depended on it.
Then came the countdown… and finally, it was Friday. Meetings? Wrapped up before lunch. Camping gear? Packed for what might be the last desert sleepover of the season. Weather? Absolutely dreamy with a
breeze whispering, “Let’s do this.”
I was the first to reach the meeting point, and after a solid 40-minute wait, the rest of the crew rolled in—@Mghoneim, @AhmadHasan, and of course, @Rashidjass. None of us had eaten and BBQ wasn’t on the cards, so we improvised with dinner. Shoutout to @AhmadHasan for keeping the laughs rolling with his top-tier jokes
.
Around 11:30 PM, we kicked off a chill cruise toward our planned camping spot—but surprise! We stumbled across a few farms, and just like that, @Rashidjass dropped an unexpected twist: “Let’s go for a night drive.” And what a twist it was! Almost two hours of thrilling nighttime dune dancing later, we found our camp spot. But did we sleep? Nope. We built a campfire, enjoyed the crisp desert breeze, and shared stories until 3 AM before finally crashing for the night. Oh, and somewhere along the way, @Lenny joined us for the night adventure too.
Morning came fast. We gathered around the fire, brewed up some breakfast magic, and were soon joined by @Aljamhi and @Scorpio. With that, the convoy was complete.
Plot twist #2: @Scorpio would now lead the charge, with @Rashidjass floating. After a solid briefing, Scorpio dropped the plan: “Warm up… then straight into the Inferno.”
@Mghoneim took second lead, and I was right behind him. Positions could change depending on the terrain, but the stage was set.
And then—it began. The first dune set the tone: intense, technical, no mercy. Scorpio gave us a masterclass in control, gracefully switching sides on a tricky climb. The rest of us? Yeah, we were stuck doing second tries like kids trying to copy a magic trick. Some even went 4L and still couldn’t make it. Eventually, @Rashidjass made the call to change the track. Whether @Mghoneim made it up or not? That mystery remains…
We paused for lunch, but had to say goodbye to @Aljamhi and @AhmadHasan due to personal commitments. And then… Act 2 began.
Now this—this—was the real Inferno. Dune after dune, switch after switch, climbs that felt like walls, drops that made your stomach flutter—and not a single recovery needed. The flow was chef’s kiss perfect.
Around 5 PM, we decided to switch up the plan and aim for the mighty Al Qua’a Bowl as our grand finale. @Mghoneim and I were buzzing—what better way to end this epic day? But… fate had other plans. We didn’t make it to the bowl. Why? Well, that’s a story for another time.
Still, we wrapped up this beast of a drive around 9:30 PM, and honestly? Zero regrets. Just a heart full of memories and a soul recharged by the fire of the dunes. Hands down, my best drive with the club so far.
See you all on sand soon.
