well tbh this wasn't a drive it was a diff experience (marshaling a rally) we were placed all separately to ensure the rally participants are on their track and are doing ok during the rally .

The day started at the meeting point from the preparing cars and ourselves for the marshaling on the rally. The cool Marshal sticker on the car :yo !:, club's flag and t-shirt (black one :like:)...then short instruction, and we moved.
I had my mum and sister in the car, so it was going to be a family day for me. We laughed a little when AlShamsi said that the rally counts on us, because our mission there was to ensure the safety on the track. What do you think could've even happened... I was really surprised when I saw the first car moving on the track in the opposite direction in order to find a good place to take pictures :) then the second one appeared .... Some people are so thoughtless!

Anyway, the day passed a bit slowly because many cars had been broken down before reaching the last station, which was mine. The luckiest drivers who managed to get to my place even with a broken car were my guests. So I would say that that day I got a new understanding of the rally driving in general.
However the main surprise showed up in the evening, when the organizers called me to the stage and H.H. Shk Marwan Al Mualla awarded me as the First female Marshal in the emirate's history.
Congratulations my dear lady-off-roaders, now we are officially existed in Umm AlQuwain!
It was really nice to be a part of the event, and to see my family being proud of the driving level that our club helped me to achieve.

Thank you guys! To be honest, I didn't do anything special at the event... except sharing the "male job" with men :ninja:Any girl could've been on my place.
I think, the only good thing about being officially recognized by Motorplex as the female off-roader is, that after it, many girls might feel more comfortable in taking the decision to do off-roading, especially in our club. I would be more than happy if they would follow my example...
