Dear newbie members, you are invited for a Almost 4x4 drive in Abu Dhabi.

If you are coming from Dubai and North Emirates please notice you might need covid test to enter Abu Dhabi.

Event End: 2021-01-15-- 18:00

Reg. Start: 10-Jan-2021 at 18:00
Reg. End: 13-Jan-2021 at 18:01

Location is 1h30 from Dubai, please plan your trip accordingly.

This will be a full day drive, so bring enough water and supplies.

There is a gas station ˜20km before the meeting point, so cars can fill their tanks before the drive.

Social distance and COVID19 relates rules are mandatory, as per UAE regulations.

To enter abu dhabi, covid test to be done at the border ? or day before in any dubai clinics will be preferable?

You have 72h to enter Abu Dhabi from the moment you get the negative result (dpi or PCR)

My suggestion would be not to leave it for the border or day before, do it Wednesday afternoon.

Dpi via SEHA app has worked well for me several times, you get the result on the spot so if any problem you still have Thursday to try to resolve so you don’t miss the drive.

Same here.
I use SEHA Centers when I need. Results to PCR takes 1 day or less to reflect on the app. Since you will need to cross boarder early morning, I suggest you take the test on Wed.

No need for Jerrycan. But is good to reserve 15min to fill the tank early morning near the meeting point.

I am planning to camp there over night, as it will be too much travel from Ajman, to be on time.
