Hello Fellow Almosters,
It has been long time I was able to join to an official drive, due to personal commitments and busy work life.... I hope this trip marks the start of the new beginings, and consistent drives in horizon.
The convoy gathered in standard Sweihan entrance. Due to summer I was expecting fresh sand however even early in Saturday morning, there was a lot of tracks. Rashid started the drive and gave some time for interms to warm up with few crests. After the warm up he started slowly to increase the level of the drive to test the convoy. To be honest, I was also quite rusted after a long break, I had some moments I couldn't stay on the crest and follow the leading car.
Some time after, we moved to Al Yahar area, where the dunes were fresh and all was for us. @Rashidjass tailored a great drive for the level of the convoy and to be honest my fellow intermediates did a good job with keeping up! Congrats guys.

As mentioned earlier, it is very nice to be back and looking forward to drive more. Summer is the best time to drive anyways

Unfortunately a late trip report, but better late than never.
Excitement began once an intermediate 10+ drive was announced by @Rashidjass as this means that we are going to have a lot of fun. Crestmania as well is one of the interesting series of drives.
I was hoping it was on old sweihan side, but it was on the other side of sweihan and I got introduced yo a new section that I never explored. Arrived to the meeting point see my fellow intermediates @dorudoru @mpodroid @Giovanni @Lenny @AhmadHasan @Aljamhi (hope I didnt forget anyone) and @haider alnuaimi supporting the convoy along @Scorpio (floating Marshal)
The drive kicked off and I lost count of the crests in the first 5 mins.. Although the convoy was not driving fast, however I was enjoying bashing those crests and I even got more excited when we entered this other section where the dunes were untouched and the crests was very sharp.
Convoy flow was the best, multiple second tries and a few crested cars. I think reserving the 3rd position in the convoy gave me a better experience as there were some crest to bash in that position.
We continued following @Rashidjass ‘s lead till we arrived to the end of the drive.
