December 14, 2024 – Sweihan

I arrived around 8:15 am, and everything was already set up. @alshamsi welcomed everyone with Arabic coffee, Karak, and Palestinian Ka3k 😊.

We teamed up, with @Solmaz leading the way, she took attendance, gave general instructions, and off we went.

The weather was lovely, and since my sister from Canada was with me, I kept the windows open during the drive. Initially, the drive was smooth and easy, but soon the challenges began. We started breaking some rules, like "keeping distances," and I got a bit stuck. @alshamsi reminded us of the importance of maintaining distance and how it really affects our drive.

The drive continued with ups and downs until I faced an "S" curve. My momentum wasn't up to the expected limits, causing my car to turn a bit from the back. With the windows open, we ended up taking a sand shower 😊.

After that, we took a break near a big dune, where Mostafa (MashaAllah) showcased his talents by climbing the dune smoothly twice .. while someone was trying to give him devil's eye but luckily he was exempted this time ..

We wrapped up our drive around 11:30 am.
Later, I took the opportunity to continue my trip to Jabal Hafit.

I want to thank the club for arranging this drive, especially our ultimate leader eagle eye @alshamsi , the drive leader @Solmaz , as well as all the marshals and crew. It was a wonderful drive.

Drive Name: Return to Serenity
Date: December 14, 2024 – Sweihan
Drive Marshall: Solmaz
Trip Report:
The day started from me at 6:00AM behind the wheel. It was a 1Hr 30 Mins drive from my home to the drive start location.
Me with my new little Jimny reached the start point around 8:15, As soon as I reached, I realized, I was slightly late and all others have already deflated their tyres and saw @Solmaz & Mr.@A Alshamsi were debriefing about the drive. I quickly deflated the and joined the debriefing.
The drive started at 8:35 with initially easy drive and gradually picked pace with a lot of clibs and drops.
My little Jimny was all capable of competing with the big toys in the drive.
During the drive, Mr. .@A Alshamsi advised me to lower the tire pressure by two more PSI, He is my Guru, and I am obliged to follow his instructions, which really made a leap of difference in the later part of the drive.
I took a small coffee break. The arabic coffee sponored by Mr. .@A Alshamsi was tasty, with the cill wind around, the hot coffee was a right choice.
Got to see few recoveries during the drive.
More importantly, @Solmaz communication and route selection was really great considering the -5 members.
Thanks to everyone who participated.

Thanks & Regards

Hello Everyone

Our marshals are trying to cover all the levels and give them drives accordingly so this time was for newbies 5- and our organizer and leader was @Solmaz .

The selected area was beautiful and easy to find the best tracks for the level. I like and I'm planning to bring the 10+ to it so let us see how much we can squeeze for the 10+ Psmiley

We had @optimus in the support and watching everyone which made the leading job as piece of cake blank .

The drive had a break and Al Naqra dune and then we head of to say goodbye for our happy newbies' thumbs-up

Till next time, stay safe and keep the sand flying

Cheers

What lovely weather we had this fine morning. Lovely and cool with just a slight breeze.

I arrived well before the trip was scheduled to start and expected I would be one of the first to arrive only to find most of the members were already there and deflated, ready to go.

@Solmaz picked great lines that suited the ability of this group perfectly and thus we had great flow and everyone was safe.

Thanks again to all the supports volunteering your precious time to keep us safe! You guys are the true heros!!

See you guys soon

thumbsup first of all the weather was amazing with sightly cold preez we arrived to the meeting point which was close to the didsh road..as usual our founder Mr@Shamsi welcomed us with coffee and kark and delicious kaak ...
We stated with @Solmaz briefing and then liened up ..the trip started smoothly but they add so.e spices in the middle...
At swehan we must stop at Al Nagra dune so intermediates and marshals can enjoy some climbing while we newbies watch...
I just want to say that with almost 4×4 every trip we gain anew skill ,when we finish and look back we realize we did something new....
So really enjoyed and thanks to all club members joined @Mostafa @msghoneim @Red Scorpion 😊
