Solo Bats isn’t just a drive—it’s a legendary test of skill, endurance, and courage in the club’s history. Every year, our Marshals craft a challenging track for intermediates to conquer alone at night. Yes, you read that right—each driver must navigate through a series of waypoints solo, in the dark! This year, @Rashidjass took on the challenge of designing the route.
I eagerly joined the drive to put my skills to the test.
Arriving at the meeting point, I found my fellow intermediates, all geared up for the adventure. Being the newest intermediate—barely 10 drives in—I knew expectations weren’t exactly sky-high for me. But that just made the challenge even more exciting!
Then, the moment arrived. I was the last to leave the nest, navigating my way through the waypoints one by one. Everything was going smoothly until I reached my 7th waypoint—when a distress call came through the radio. A fellow member was stuck. And then, I heard my name. No second thoughts—I turned around, made my way back, and successfully recovered him.
With the recovery complete, I pushed forward towards the finish line. I had started in 5th place but crossed the line in 4th—giving me a well-earned sense of accomplishment.
A huge shoutout to our Marshals for teaching us not just how to drive, but true life-saving skills and special thanks to @Rashidjass for taking out time to design this challenge for us. This was one unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait for the next one!

See you all on sand soon.

Hello Almosters,
My second Solo bats experience was a bit different than my first one!!
I arrived to the meeting point on time to find @Rashidjass @alshamsi_m @Paddy @AZK89 and few other members.
Short briefing, ensuring everyone understand the aim of the game, you just need to make it to through all points and arrive to the exit point. Choose the easy route as it is dark and you will have to recover yourself or else wait for the sweepers.
The unique experience for me was that as an experience bat, I was chosen to start first. It was a pleasure for me to drive in the dark with my windows wide open. I preplanned my track , and drove the track I prepared more or less. The area was either too bushy or clean.
I was looking forward to point #6 as it was in Nahil bowl, I tried to play a bit in there but my mind was telling me to leave so I decided to listen.
Arrived to the last point and waited for everyone to come while I am relaxed on my roof :D
Thanks to @Rashidjass @alshamsi_m for the organisation and support.

Hello everyone
Another successful, carefully designed night solo by @Rashidjass which followed by successful arriving of all the intermediates safe and sound
After dispatching the intermediates, Rashidjass and I started following the members to make sure that everyone are progressing without issues. During the drive we found unlucky person stuck in the middle of nowhere where. He was surprised that we found him and thinking that we are a rescue team
.
Half way we received the call that everyone arrived to the final distention so we took the fast track to say goodbye for everyone since we all were away from home
.
Congratulations to everyone for another milestone and looking forward to see you in more drives.
Till next drive, stay safe
Cheers
